Dammit. I found 2 seeds so far on my best flowering plant.
There can be a few explanations, the plants were in a different location out in BFE, but nothing should have been flowering when they were out there.
Also there is a bunch of punk kids that throw there bag seeds out a few miles from here. I heard about their field in the paper. There might be some males out there I guess.
Only other thing is this guy down the street from me, he's one of those dirty looking hippy guys, I'm pretty sure(his friend told me LOL) he is trying to grow and apparently aside from telling too many people he grows he must not be able to tell the difference between males and females.
Or the plant pollinated itself. I thought I looked for any male flowers but I sure didn't see any. Im gonna check again later.
Does this happen to you outdoor growers a lot?
And what can I expect? Are my flowers going to produce tons of seeds from just a little pollen(God I hope it was just a little pollen, how can I tell? does it make a difference anyways?) Should I just start feeding it straight water now and harvest it early? Or just monitor seed production and take it at the best time?
