My seed broke and I noticed that it was a white powdery substance coming out of it, are these weed seeds?

i just popped a seed open that i know is definitely a weed seed- and yes there was a white substance in there. That doesn't uniquely identify weed seeds though.
Did it look like a pot seed? because they do have a unique appearance

It looked small... it had a little greenish colour on it.. Im waiting for a few to sprout within this week, if they dont I'll post pictures.. They were very small like REALLY small.. Not that big described in a picture like a mini thing.

sorry man- im out of a camera right now. i wish i could be more helpful. Didn't the seed look anything like the ones in the above link before it was crushed?

It didnt look that fat it was really thin.. Should I take 1 out of the ziplock its in a ziplock with a tissue paper in a dark closet.. Will it mess up the netire process? Incase it is actually weed?

It sounds like you have some not so good seeds- or they aren't pot seeds at all. i have seen some really small/deformed seeds before, they aren't fully developed. Who knows though- they might still work out for you. I'd hope that if you paid for pot seeds that you'd get pot seeds especially if it was from a friend

it'll be alright- just put it back when you're done. I think it'd be better to know for sure rather than playing around with some random seeds that could from a pepper or something
