20140811_170255.jpg 20140811_170244.jpg Long story short, I have come upon some seeds in my shed floorboards.

They aren't mine, but because I know of the previous inhabitant of this house, I was kind of sure I knew they would be there. (there is trim all over certain parts of my house still, I can't get rid of it all)

I would like:

Points and tips on germinating?

What should I know about the seeds?

What would be a good or bad seed?

its probably commercial, I would throw them out and get some real seeds, honestly I would.

4 is cracked 2 looks too premature... wet that paper towel and fold it over, put that in a baggie in a warm spot, with some light... in a few days I bet more than half germinate

I'm gonna try them for sure. It's not gonna hurt anything, except I'm gonna need 10 new pots, lol.

I have 3 plants growing outside that are all female, and they originally started growing in the middle of my backyard, right where the cops dumped them in the middle of the winter.

I didn't get busted, the last habitant of the house did, and the cops basically dumped all his growing stuff in the snow. Come Summer and I've got plants. Lol

I am thinking I start paper towel germination in T - Minus 8 hours. I know. How to germinate, but any extra pointers:mrgreen:

I guess #4,5 & 9 is green crack...#1 looks like some northern lights...#3&6 looks like Barney's Blue OG and it looks like you hit the holy grail because #2,7,8 and 10 looks like some Thunderfuck beans for sure bro!!!Nahhhh I just kidd'in TokingTiger might be right. Those beans just might be some commercials or Hermie's beans so its best to invest and know what you grow. Germinating advise? I use the paper towel method on a plate and throw then in a drawer in my kitchen. Good luck to ya.

Just because the seed is cracked doesn't mean it won't sprout, as a matter of fact sometimes cracking a stubborn seed can be just the jumpstart it needs. My advice on popping the seeds: Take a little bit of water, add a splash of hydrogen peroxide (approx 1 part peroxide for 4 parts water), soak two makeup removal cotton pads (or paper towels, but the pads work the best IMO) in the mix, put seeds between pads in a ziploc bag, keep it somewhere warm, check it in 24-48-72 hours. Some may pop the first night, some may take up to a week. Be patient. Using this method I popped 6 year old GDP seeds that I thought for sure were too old to sprout, it works well for old, stubborn seeds.

Well the packages are away.

2 medium size freezer zip lock bags, 5 in one, 6 in the other(yes I know the original picture was 10, but I found another)

Friday morning after I wake up, I'll check on them, that's 70-72. hours.
