seeds in rockwool help

hi ther first time aeroponics how long does it take for seeds to sprout in rockwool. put seeds in cup of water 2nd day got tap root put them in rockwool then in to my propagater under flurecent light without the heating pad on is right the way iam doing it or should i keep the heating pad turned on its been 2 days and still no signs thanks in advance

seeds like it warm and moist (like mr. cock). When i germ that way it takes 3 days for the seedling to be noticed.

Gerbo: did you neutralize the rock wool cubes first? It's been a while since I worked with that medium but I remember that was a necessary step.

shit man i wish u better luck than i had.

ive never been able to sprout or grow in rockwool.
taproots never seem to ne able to penetrate

it can depend on the strain, quality of seed, age, lots of things.

hey do you guys know an alternative to rockwool something i can make or set it in instead to start them in
for a hydro setup
or will it be ok to start them in soil and them put it in hydro and rinse the roots as well as possible
