Hi, i am a 100% newbie i have read on here for a month now, just extending my knowledge in this subject. I have obtained some seeds off my uncle who had very very nice Blueberry. I put them in the glass as pictured below in a warm dark place, and it looks like to me( im nt sure) like something is growing out of the seed. I wanted to know what is the best thing i can do now to keep this plant going and alive. Im not sure if this is the best way. please take a look at the pics below.

(if it is even going in the first place!). Please share and help me. Thanks Regards.

those look like the roots sprouting you need to plant them in whatever system you plan to use and keep the light off the roots

OK Thanks for replies so far, i need 2 know

1. When do you think its ready to put in soil?, 2. Which soil should i buy? and i plan in making a small grow box. May someone advise me which soil is best to buy and 3. What size pot should i put it in? last but not least ...Would i need to add nutes? and if i do what ones. Please help me gain experience. Thanks.

I also wanted to know if i should keep it in that glass while the root gets bigger or should i put it in a different place?. REGARDS, thanks v much.

hmm have you read the grow faq on the site here i really thing you should it will answer most your questions. theres way to many possiblilities to choose from. hope that helps ya . Peace

I grow using Hydro so I can't help you out with the soil problem. Try researching soils that people have used and see who got the best results.

I would probably plant those seeds soon. You don't want the root that is starting to show dry out or even get too long or else the plant will just eventually die. get that girl in the ground so she can start growing!!!

The nutes can probably wait until the plant has established itself and is growing. Make sure to mix your nutes low at first and progressively raise the nutes to full strength as the plant gets bigger. remember you can always add more nutrients, but if you add too much then theres no going back.
