Seeds confiscated. Almost in tears :(

I am so upset and a bit angry. My seeds were confiscated by border patrol, because some idiot, delivered from overseas, sent the seeds with heavily scented sache packs. Damn, of course that are going to open it!
300 in seeds ... Gone!
Now I'm am freaked that they will report the attempted deliver to local authorities or worse FED f*cks.
Now I fear I may have to stop growing my own medication. This is beyond an inconvenience. I REQUIRE MEDS, these meds...!!! ...to live.
Without MMJ, I could not survive. No other medications work. Period!
 
jesh, take a big breath and calm down first thing..

i think that all of us that have ordered any amount of seeds online have had a package or two snagged... not one of us have had anything happen as a result..
depending on where you ordered them from, you might be able to contact them and tell them they didn't make it, and they'll resend them..
 
and why do you think something heavily scented would be opened automatically? i don't get that thinking? lots of people, especially this time of year, order and send smelly crap in the mail all of the time fwiw..

I just know from third hand sources, that strong chemically sented mail it's notorious for being used to call attention and more scrutiny to those items. Especially coming from oversees, dinky cheep items that cost less than the postage.

yes I did pay for guaranteed delivery but what is freaking me out the most is I need some type of guarantee that the Border Patrol won't report to the feds that I'm growing medical marijuana because it's California where we can at least semi legally. But Border Patrol is part of the federal system and that sucks.

That makes me feel better, but I have a great mistrust of the feds. But I really needed to hear that, THANKS!
 
How do you know the package was smelly? Border patrol intercepts mail? I think you may be wrong about that stuff. Packages get snagged alot.. attitude is good and will replace.
 
I received the package with green border patrol tape on the top. Inside letter said you were very naughty trying to bring contraband into the country. Yes it was pulled by Border Patrol. How do I know it smells to strong?... Well sven sealed the stench fills a room. So yes US Border Patrol intercepts, opens and inspected packages.
The choice of chemically smelly saches, I truly believe this is why this package got singled out.

Green tape is usually customs not border patrol. Border patrol has nothing to do with the mail system as far as i know.

You are probably right. It was US Customs Boarder Patrol stamped all over the printed green tape I received sealing the inspected package.
It was held up in the Port of Los Angeles, or CA Los Angeles CBP.
It states intercepted material, cannabis sativus (propagation material) .4 Gram. Disposition: Prohibited Material Removed and Destroyed.

Yeah, I notified them immediately upon opening, Thursday. I have had no response from them whatsoever. We will see how forthcoming they will be!?!
