seed at the usual are ready at about 4 weeks. now ive had this strain and the seeds are 4 weeks old. some are browning and others are not. with the drying process they will darken. but if i cut before all the seeds are brown will this hinder their viability?

Yes, picking immature seeds will hinder their viability. Brown seeds are indicate of maturity :)

Also - I'm not positive about this fun tidbit - I hear pure Sativa seeds have no striping on them; only Indicas have stripes and hybrids (but to a lesser extent)

bump, i have something of not an issue but these things popped up out of no whereDSCN1691.jpgDSCN1692.jpgits a picture of seed pods right where the pistil would come out. no pollen no male balls just seed pods. is this stress or something else that caused it. I'm VERY grateful to yawhey for this, just very curious as what causes it. some females tend to put off offspring to keep generations going. but whats the main cause?

you have pollination somewhere look carefully for herms im sure you will find one. i would separate the seed from other plants from the seeds for the plant that hermed cause these will be selfed and could be unstable as far as herms go.
