Seedlings

Hi ive got some new seedlings just come through and was wondering if i should wait a while untill I put them under my 600w MH and how far away I should put the light from the top of them?

i wud wait till they got there first real set of fan leaves to put un HID

and the distance .. i always just do the hand test ..

I would wait until they have thier second set of leaves and put the light about 24in and see how they do. but if you have a 600w light you better have some cool air comeing through, i know my 400w light gets hot.

well i use 1000watters and use the hand test and have been doing so for 2yrs with NO illeffects ..but .. its all speculations .. first set .. second set .. shit i have started seeds that havent poped through the soil yet under a 1000wMH
