seedlings taking too long to get big

my seedling had sproted last week saturday and thaey are just over an inch tall and seem to be taking a long time to get any bigger and not sure why. i have a 400w mh over them about 8-10 inches over them and not sure if im doing it correctly or is the mh too strong right now. my temps are around 75-80 and humidity is about 40%. also noticed some browning on one. please help not ready to loose these so soon.

i think raising the light may help

It would appear from the pics that your plant is imaginary, or invisible. Either scenario would explain why they are growing slowly.

Either that, or you forgot to upload the pics =)

i don't think they are taking too long - sounds normal to me
but raise that light - i bet if you put your hand at the top of the plants you can feel some heat - not a good thing
