seedlings and light

right now i have some seedlings outside and there are getting about 14 hours of sunlight. will they be able to bud or will they stay in there vegetation growth?
 
It depends on the strain as well. Most strains will flower in 12/12..
others may require up to 16 hours of light to stay in veg mode. Usually
its somewhere between 11.5 and 13.5 hours of darkness to flower so yours
should veg.for at least 60 more days or so.

i have some seeds germinating right now and im going to do them indoors hydro what kind of light would be best?
 
a large closet so i was gonna get a 15 plant kit from discount hydro it comes with 2 250 watt hps but thats way to much heat so i was going to get maybe a 150 watt hps and some cfls
 
For a large closet I wouldn't go less than a 400w HID. You could go with CFL
or something, many ppl post good results- but don't waste your time with a 150-250w HID IMHO.
 
Hmm if you do a search on these forums for "CFL" you should find the info.
you are looking for . I am not qualified to give you an estimate :dunce: .
