seedling stem looks slightly purple?

i dont know if im just paranoid but the stem looks kind of like slightly purple they just sprouted yesterday and im just curious. im growing in FFOF with perlite 30% under 400w hps, any help appreciated thx.

HPS lights are a little strong for seedlings, you should start them off under some fluoro tubes or CFL bulbs, they will like that a lot better. That HPS light will be great for your budding cycle, but for your growing cycle you should look into getting a Metal Halide bulb, and a couple fluoros for seedlings/clones.

It's nothing, dont worry about it. lots of seedlings do this. it will outgrow it.
