Seedling Question

How long should it take for the seedling to pop through the soil and form leaves???

I planted mine Aug. 21 at about 6:30pm and its Aug 23 at 5pm and it has yet to pop through....and yes the seed was germinated properly with the root sticking out when planted....I Dug a 1/2-1in whole with my finger and placed it in there and im currently running (2) 23 watt CFL's...:joint:
 
you don't want the lights on until after it's sprouted above the grow medium, just dark, humid, and warm. This process can take anywhere from 3 to 10 days, so just be a little more patient before getting to considered. Happy growing!

Like darkchildsks says....3-10 days, have patience....it'll be worth it:blsmoke:
 
It doesn't matter if you have the lights on or not if it has no leaves. If your room is too cool with them off you may want to turn them on just for the heat, but having the lights on or off does not affect the plant until it has leaves.
 
^--- Cool, Thanks for the help plants actually turning green leaves as a seedling and its coming up so everything is good and ill post pictures asap....Thank!!!!!
