3 of 4 sprouted normal, but this one was weird from the jump. I believe it may have had too much moisture in paper method. Ever since I took out of paper towel it was really brown on taproot. I had to manually make this stand out of the soil it was pointing down. Is there anything I can do to get this baby girl going??

I was thinking I should take that of but didn’t know if it would be better to let it do it by itself. So the goosenecking isn’t a problem either? Bc none of the other ones are doing that.

"If the soil smells like ammonia or has a rotten odor that is a good indication there is poor drainage or lack of oxygen in the soil. "

how wet do you keepp it, its a sign of soil thats been left too wet. a sulpher ammonia smell. even with eathworm castings, soil should smell fresh n earthy. try letting it dry out more between waterings

Ended up pulling them going to start a new batch the roots were really brown and soggy almost

Edit I was using a bowl of water and a towel to try to raise humidity ....after dumping out the buckets and restarting with plain Jane soil I noticed the bottom two inches was literally soaked so I’m thinking this was the culprit of smell and seedlings going bad damn capillary action

capiliary action is great if you have the correct potting compost. im terable for feeding by capilliary action of the soil, most growers would shoot me. but by this action , your not washing out nutes everytime i water. i do water from on top to keep them moist, but i dont recomend this method for any grower.
shame you had to pull her, there weeds and can recover from most situations if corrected in time. but if you ghad to then its done now.
better luck with the next one
