Seedling issue

Hey everyone. So one of my seedlings shell was hanging on and would not let go so last night I gave it a light mist and very gently removed the rest of the shell. This morning it looks like this.

Any suggestions?

Not really stupid .... the “ helmet “ will fall off naturally and rarely needs to be messed with.
You have to remember it’s extremely fragile in beginning and you can damage it with too much manhandling.

Im aware of the mistake I made im looking to see if there was a way to improve the already fucked situation is all. Its wasn't me who actually did it. Was the guy whos house the grow was in

Did "he" rip off just one cotyledon (baby leaf) or both? If just one, your plant has ime a 50/50 chance of surviving. I had one rip it's own cotyledon off leaving the shell behind in the soil and it survived long enough to grow some true leaves and overcome the stress. Grew into a nice plant. Another time I did what "the guy" did, and it died. Those were both in my first grow. Now I just mist it and leave it for a while under a humidity dome to soften up the shell and the membrane under it. Usually the plant pops em both off itself. If not then you can take a q-tip, moistened and start trying to very gently push them off, making sure to keep them moist and soft.

It was stressed. Keep the cube moist and keep it in the right temps/humidity/light for a seedling and you should be ok.

I just got here the guy let the cubes get dry they are nice and wet now and the seedlings still had a healthy purple to there little tiny stock so they should bounce back
