Seedling Fuzz? Or white hairs?

Hi Guys

I have my seedlings in a propagator, the one in question's upper half is purple which I read is ok, it has some white hairs on the stem which I also read is ok, and are just used to aid water intake?

I do have some more white hairs on the lower part of the stem, actually within the rockwood cube, and wondered if this is normal as its my first real shot in rockwool cubes, or if it will be ok. They are like hairs but slightly longer and more abundant than that on the upper stem and I wondered if the water within the rockwool could have been too much for it.... i did shake away the excess water from the cube before planting the seedling, my humidity and temps are varying, now between 60 and 80% humidity and around 28degree c.

Any thoughts guys?

Do u have picture? I not really following u...So it sounds like you have alot of healthly white roots, growing from your rockwool. Its time to transplant. Unless I missing something...I read your thread to My BF & we discussed it. If we r following u correctly...Yes I've seen this before, 99% of the time I use my ezcloner, & I see a Shit load of roots with little roots off those roots... Sometimes it looks like fuzz cause they just started sprouting! As long as they look like fuzzy hairs...not mold u should be great. Peace & happy growing.

I will find camera and get a pic posted, they havent rooted yet, or at least not to the bottom of the rockwool. Yes definitely look like really fine hairs. You are probs bang on they are probs early formation of little roots. Yes they sprouted a few day back. I had 6 other autos but fucked them up so im really tryin to stay on top of these, I noticed the biggest of my previous batch had the same and at that time was thinkin mould bcoz didnt know the humidity but its going lots better now and what you put explains it. Previous batch were stretching for light so put them under my dual spec hps, but coz they are auto's I figured as long as they dont get too hot will b ok. Thanks v much for havin a chat about it etc!!
