seedling drying out? need help.

This is my first grow and it is the 4th day going on 5th since seeds were started off in soil. Seedlings are under 250 hps for 18/6, indoor temp ranges between 75-85 F through out the day and humidity is between 48-54%. 4 out of 5 seedlings seem to be doing great, but one of them is falling behind, it started growing at a slower pace and now the tips of the round leavs are drying out and the small pointy leaves are not growing and seem to be curling in. See pictures below and please help me determine if there is anything I can still do to save her. Seeds are feminized and were pricey and I would hate to loose her this early. Thanks for your help.

I'm no expert but you may want to ad some more soil to the cups and water them, they are stretching so that leads me to believe that your lighting is way to far away, shouldn't be the lighting itself as it's an hps.

I find the hardest part of growing is getting it through the seedling stage.
I had the same prbolem for a long time... and this is somthing I never read and probably isn't that great but I dont give the plants much light untill I see the first true leaves... once I started doing that I had a much higher survival rate... plants dont stretch much either but if they do i burry the stem and bend it alittle. and it will become new rots.

Thanks for the advice. The drying seedling I had posted about seems to be gone, the leaves are crispy and below them the stem seems to be drying out.

On the other hand, im glad to hear your response about my seedlings stretching, I had no idea!

Just to make sure I do everything right; after I add soil to my cups do I bend the stem to make a slight indentation so roots can grow? Or do i just bend it so it gets stronger? Also my 250w hps light is about 30 inches away, should I lower it more so they dont stretch or will that burn them? Thanks for all your input! It is greatly appreciated.

again... this is somthing I made up I never read it... but I find works great for stretched plants... because it puts its stretching to use... when I re pot them I burry the stem to as close as the fist leaves as I can... and than If Im not repoting I dig alittle hole around the stem and bend it down and position it how I want...

I would just burry them to the first water leaves as stated and I wouldn't recommend bending them.
