Ive been searching around for ever and i cant seem to find a short predominantly sativa seed...Something like NYC Diesel X Lowrider
Any leads would be great.

i think your best bet would be to induce flowering very early so that it wouldn't get too tall. best of luck on your search

Papi is right about inducing flower early, it works. I've never done it but I've ready plenty of reports where people have. But if I did that I would want the sativas that go no longer than 10 weeks tops and a lot of those are crosses but predominately sativa. I wouldn't want to risk it with the Thais and Malawi type strains that go up to 14 weeks but a lot of reports prove you can induce flowering withint two weeks and limit stretch. The problem with that is that according to some is that you are trying to turn a little girl into a women before she's ready. As an example the breeder REZ has talked about the second run off a plant where you saved a mom then run clones off it can turn out to be even better than the first run from seeds, because the plant is older and more mature. I think most people want to veg for at least a month but with sativas it can mean by the time it's done stretching you have a problem.

I was going to mention Arjan's Haze #3 also. Here's a grow video of it. I don't remember how long they vegged it for but it looks awesome and probably less than four feet tall. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLGjqmDeKWw

Another one to think about would be ACE's Orient Express. It's Vietnamese Black by an indica called Chinese Yunnan. Yunnan is supposed to be a very good high that starts out sativa-like then turns into a happy pleasant feeling, supposed to be a very happy smoke, not couch lock. ACE believes it to be a natural hybrid of sativa/indica. It supposedly stays real short. Combining the type of high it produces with a sativa like Vietnamese Black seems like a great combo- said to have great sativa high and no paranoia. It's on my list when I actually get some more money and can afford it($67), yup, I'm that broke right now. :) But I'd grow that one in a heartbeat if I could, only takes 8-9 weeks. https://www.seedboutique.com/store/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=84&products_id=1060

I've only got 3 ft. of vertical space right now so i've been forcing early. I ussually wait about two weeks after germ, just so the roots can supply enough water before they enter the flower room. I had a few dry up before I did this.

however, you'll probably get better results posting in the grow forums.....This is the seed bank REVIEW forum

however, no probs here

:peace:
