how far should the root come out of the seed b4 i plant it

I planted mine after 36 hours. The tap roots were not long at all. My plants are doing fine now(only 2 1/2 weeks in).

1/4 inch to 1/2 inch taproots seems to have the best success rate for me, however, my ice and aurora indica were more like 1/16 out when I put them in the soil and they all came up healthy.

Anything from 1/4 - 3/4"..when I start a lot 25+ I wait till I see who is the best growers and they're my 1st choice..sometimes they pop quick and stop..this leaves you staring at an empty plant pot...... if you wait you'll know the strong ones ..... Luck
