seed producing plants

Very new to growing.

Have been taking cutting and growing good sized plants, Not sure about strain.

Problem is they have started producing shit loads of seeds.

Not sure if this is a problem???

Any sensible advice appreciated..kiss-ass

welcome to the forum! i'm sorry to say that you had a male plant in there, dude. your male pollinated your female plants (producing seeds) and ruined your bud. sorry. you gotta make sure you seperate your females and males so you don't get pollination. try again and do a ton of reading in the FAQ section.

I hear what you are saying but my set up is ultra secure and no way has any males got in. Only have small number of plants, so know each one.

Is there any other way seeds can start, weird thing is buds are still v.good>>>

The bud will still be very good. What you probably have is a Hermie. A female plant that got stressed and produced male parts. Good luck

thanks guys , have read that Hermies can be a good smoke.

How do they occur, cph, you mention stressed plant, might be stupid Q but what can stress them out??

There are alot of things I'm no expert, so here's what I know. Light leaks during lights out is always at the top of the list. To hot or to cold for long stretches. PH in soil/water to high or to low. Over/under on the nutes. I'm sure there are more but this should help.

cheers dude. Think I know what occurred now.
they were on 12/12 day/night.

Had 5-0 hovering over and so switched lights off and changed to night/day.
Would think that would be stressful an some!!!!!
