seed good or bad

How can you tell if a seed is good or bad. I have a few but when i put them in water they float... does that mean they are dead? Thanks

no it takes a lot to kill them. just plant em and see what happens. 90% of seeds make it through germination

all seeds are different. there is no exact answer. I've left seeds up to a month to see if they pop...never have, but I still left them that long. Usually with-in a few days to a week on average.

well cracked seeds = no good

i squeeze mine in beetween my thumb and forefinger, and if they pop...they are no good. (obviously)

I smash my shit with a hammer, and say west side. if they crack they aint no good. But honestly just wait awhile float or not floating doesnt make a difference if its dead or alive. It will crack eventually.
