SEED CRACK (2 days now, seeds didnt crack!)

hey rollitup community!

It's my first time on growing MJ... actually i'm in the first step!
I have putted my seeds between 2 pieces of wet cotton and there are 2 days now in it!
there are 5 seeds in there...not from same plant! i think at least one of them should already crack!

should i worry and try an other way to crack my seeds?

btw.
which is the best way to crack seeds?

2 days is a bit early, some seeds might crack that soon but give it a few more days... i always use the cup of water method.. just put some water in a cum and drop ur seeds in, they will sink to the bottom after a day or 2 and then u will start seein a tap root shoot out

so should i just remove them from the cotton and put 'em in just water?

i would its the easiest way to germ.. u dont have to worry about ur seeds dryin out.. if the are in a papertowel and they dry out u can just throw them in the trash cause they wont be any good.... any more questions about ur grow now or in the future just ask.... not all of us on here r dicks...lol

^^^ After you see the tap root, place seeds between two paper towels, place in a warm dark area and allow the root to grow about 1/4"

I've had great success with the cup of water method. Use bottled or distilleld water and drop em in, then keep them in the dark. Once I see a tap root shooting out it's right into a peet pellet, then into a humidity dome. Another way to help the seeds out is to shave the seam of the hull with fine grit sand paper before putting them in water, but not too much.

Good Luck, and remember ANY weed is a good result for your first grow.

easiest way is the cup method. let the seed sink. once it sinks i put it directly into moist soil. i use this method with like 90% sprout rate.
