Hi all loving the forum so thought I would join...
also got a query lol.....

i am starting a secret jardin 150 tent soil grow
My setup is 2x600 watts + 2x8" system air fans + rhino filter
now I have heard of people using 4" in, and 6" out, for this set up
so is the 2x 8"fan configuration too much and just a waste of electricity
for this set up,
as this is the only equipment I have accesses too..

i also have a spare 4" fan + filter
and a spare 400watt light

would it be possible to upgrade my original plan, and use up my spare equipment too..
So it would be as follows 2x600+1x400w
8" fan intake + 8"fan and filter out + 4"fan and filter out..
And would I need that extra 4"

also was wondering best pot size and plant number for the 150 tent
Would 9 plants be ok not over crowded + 4 week veg time,
what would be the expected yeald lemon haze strain...

Or if any one could give me any variations with all the equipment
That's available to me
I Would be much humble...

Ds 150 tent
2x600 watt
1x400 watt
2x 8" fan + filter
1x 4" fan + filter

yes this is my first grow....:-)

Thx folks toke on ....

2x 600w HPS's will suffice, just under the 50w per square foot minimum rule.

When doing active exhaust/passive intake, your intake vent should be twice the area of your exhaust.

Take a look at Ventilation 101,you can find the link in my signature.

Use aircooled hoods on a closed loop ( outside tent > ducting > fan > hood 1 > ducting > hood 2 > ducting > out tent and into the attic, out a window via exhaust box,or another room, but not the same room as the tent sits in and draws it's fresh, cool intake air from as that will just raise that rooms temps naking cooling even harder.

Use the 2nd 8" fan hooked to an 8" carbon filter for solely just ventilation if the tent, and again exhuast into the attic, out a window via exhaust box,or to another room.

Yes you can do 9 plants. You can do 1 plant all the way up to 100 plants (four per square foot high density Sea of Green).Just depends on how big you want them.

Yield can be anything from 0 grams to 2 pounds.Too many variables.Yes genetics, environment (light, ventilation, temperatures both lights on and off, watering regime, feeding regime, medium and growing style) play a big role, but so does experience.
