hello, i am going to be growing a few plants in my closet.. under a 1000 watt hps... just wonderin how i could make it stink less
seceret grow... how do i best controll odor?

If you are trying to grow in your mom's house, you will get busted. You can't hide that in someone else's home dude.
But to cover the smell in a cabinet closet grow, get a carbon air filter hooked to an exhaust.

definitely make the room air tight... easily done with panda plastic... and yeah, get a nice blower/fan pushing enough cfms to exchange the room every 5min or less... hook it up to some sort of carbon filter (either bought or DIY)... and if you're looking for stealth, you may want to put a suppressor kind of thing on it too to cut down on all the noise coming from the fan...
for extra protection gettig some ionizers or DIY ona bucket (look up in diy section in growfaq...) to go along with a carbon filter will def. let you rest more easily

Come on, no way he's growing in his mom's house with a 1000w hps. And if he is, and she's too dumb to notice that his closet is lit up like it leads to Narnia then she's probably not going to notice the smell. You can buy carbon scrubbers on ebay, or you can ghetto rig one as shown in the GrowFAQ

i hope you have read the jornals about heat issues and ventilation and such,because with a 1000 you can have some amazeing plants,you will definately need a carcon filter or ozone,im only familiar with carrbon filters,you could get an odor sox for 120 that would easily cover a 1000 watt grow.
