seat of consciousness

what a niche on this site for me! im new here, and still have not posted in the newbie thread, but I will soon. I belive that there is a lot amount of spiritual information being kept from average people. I also believe that because of certain influences (that I wont address the chance that its intentional...yet) like television, 'education', 'news', etc, the average person is much too distracted to truly give spirituality the observation it requires if we ever want to understand life more. in this thread, I am asking about what is easily understood as the 'seat of consciousness'. does anyone know what i am talking about so far?

...no-no, the point is TO retain it. Have you ever heard the expression "a nun can see into the heart of men"? It is particularly this retention that they are talking about. Spiritual vision comes from this retention.

...what ultimately separates man from animals is the 'choice' of spasm. It's a huge jolt to the system - as I am sure most people know But it does, in effect, scatter the 'feel good' hormones in the body which leaves room for a more negative sensation after the fact.

...my daughter is the best reason I can think of! We've all laughed at the idea of people who think having sex only to have kids is nuts. But, really, what is known as 'sexual magic' (white) can benefit people so much. This is something one can think about literally: keep your source of life inside and what do you have more of? (in potentiality)

you say that to me, but can you really believe it? i mean, for years I had no idea the lifestyle i was living was so terrible. and then i turn and look at the majority of the completely ignorant populous, and what are they all doing? facebook, MTV, spending all their money trying to LOOK like they have money. and are you saying i cant blame viacom for filling the television with crap that degrade morals and values? and like they dont know. voter registration dropped 40 percent ten years after television was licensed for commercial broadcast.
