Searching for reliable float valve / auto top off

I'm looking for a reliable, quality float valve that I'll feel confident won't leak or fail and cause a flood. Style, brand, exact model. I've already looked and I guess I'm just looking for recommendations now from people who've been using one for years and have advice, or even which ones to stay away from.

I need to be able to get it in canada, online.

I don't plan to hook it up to a water supply (like high pressure residential water service), I was thinking I'd put a container with enough water to get some extra time (days, week) without manually topping off.

Thanks.

I use a auto pot smart valve for my feed bucket, it stays in the tent so I can heat it for free.
I made it 7/8 years ago its been used for most of that bar a couple of years.
I've total and absolute confidence in it for my system.
50ltr res, pump, feed lines and timer.
If it's any interest I'll take a photo.

I think they might all suck.
Ya, mine will be a secondary valve for when I go to fill, if I forget and go burn one down and start cooking dinner, hopefully my room won’t flood. But line will be shut off otherwise so I thought I could get away with a cheapie, if you find something worthwhile link it up

Yea I will.
I've read a few positive things about "Jobe valves". https://www.jobevalves.com/. I can't say anything from experience though.

Most grow shops have them. Hydrofarm makes one I believe. I got several styles and there all reliable IMO. Princess Auto and Tractor supply have ones for livestock water trough.
