sealed room ac question

thinking of ducting home central ac system to sealed room with zone control thermostat that controls room separately, any thoughts

It will depend on the load you are trying to put on the a/c as well. For a small grow that will be fine. Anything over 2-3,000w and you might need more direct cooling exhaust in that room.

have heating and cooling experience but new to sealed rooms so question is will this setup work properly and would appreciate any input

Like I said...it will depend on the load you are trying to put on it. If you are trying to run 4,000w of lighting then no. Not unless you duct the air handler entirely to that room. Also depends on the size fo the air handler. Technically it's not even a sealed room. You would need the air handler to be in the room.

You are asking if the setup will work and I am giving you the best guess answer considering you haven't given any specs on the room or its cooling needs and we don't know what size the air handler is.

There it is!

You'll need a return duct for the air also, otherwise you're not going to get good airflow into the room if it's closed off.
