scrubber setup

I have an inline scrubber, vented hood and a big green inline fan - what is the setup? Do i put the fan near the exhaust out and suck the air thru the scrubber, then thru the hood, and out?

Hiya. From observations - Intake at cooltube/hood, scrubber than exhaust.

You could even swap the scrubber and exhaust around - all up to your area layout etc.

Mine sucks air threw the cf threw the hood threw the fan and out into the hallway

if you do it that way then your sucking the hot air from your room and across your light not good, you can also push air through filters if thats an option

Are you going to run a dedicated intake to the hood?

Then its intake > hood >exhaust fan > out

If youre going to use the room air to cool the hood its:

Filter > hood > exhaust fan > out


Technically "scrubbing" refers to circulating air within a sealed room. The room air is sucked through a carbon filter and blown back out into the room.
