ScroG trimming help

But now that most of the ColaHoles in my screen is filled I was wondering if I should start trimming the foliage under the screen that is not going to produce any bud.

You should work on that as you vegetate, so you are not taking it off all at once and shocking the plant. Now your plant has to expend energy in trying to keep the lower portion of the plant sustained. I would start a gradual reduction of the biggest leaves that are showing any discolor. Take them first, and prune off any thin branches with pop corn bud.

In the future, I would try to work on defoliating under the screen as you go. By the time you flip 12/12, underneath should just be bare branches.

Hopefully there will be many future opportunities. It is hard to trim green leaves. But I shall slowly do so and post pictures of the results.
