SCROG question.

Is it beneficial to top plants while using the scrog technique? my one plant is 6 inches and my other plant is 7 1/2 ". if i should top them, when should i do it. Thanks in advance

you can top to induce branching to fill in the screen more evenly but thats about it when it comes to scrogging, just keep weaving the new growth and you will be good

thanks guys. just a question though ghostdog, in the LST and topping guide you included on your grow says that this method doesnt work with autos and clones. my 2 plants are PK clones. and another thing, my plants are bigger than the ones on the tutorial. heres a pic of my plants so you can kinda see what im working with. any suggestions?

dude you got weeks before you need to lst or scrog i start scrogging around 18"

My goal is to harvest every month I have a 4x4 tent for veg and was going to veg for 4 weeks. then i have 2 flowwering tents 8x8 would it be best to veg for 4 weeks topping at the 4th or 5th node then set up my scrog in the flowering tents and then during the stretch spread them accross the screen. id appreciate any guidance anyone has to offer. Im growing Hp aero 4 plants and a few bio terra soil ones as well..

U might want to wait for one of the old tymers to reply bc im pretty new too but i dont think you want to set up the scrog net for the forst time in the flowering tent....youd want to put in flowering once the whole screen is full from veg.

Topping is extremely beneficial to a scrog. I wouldnt top until it at least hits the screen or when you have at least 4 nodes.
