looks goood. I would dump the screen and move lights closer for now, then add screen when they are ready to go through it..wasting alot of light having em up so high and having to penetrate the screen.

my 2¢

Stretch it tighter and tie it to rails along edges or you will be disappointed.
I know Im about to pull it more taught at 12:00 when the lights come back on. Why should I create a border? the material is a tough plastic/vinyl type so its pretty strong as it is. also its secure with zip ties

True but I thought that having to set up the screen when the plants are under there would be a pain in the ass so I just set it up now. -Lowered lights about a foot and pulled netting more tight

Can always roll it up on a 2x4 or piece of strapping, then when your ready to use it roll it out, almost like a pool cover. I just think them little seedling will benifit more from having the screen gone and lights about 16-24 in above em again my 2¢

Im aware that you can roll it up, but its not necessary to take off the trellis. the reason is that, light is a wavelength and it will fill the spots the the trellis blocks out. you can tell this by the fact theres no shadow of the net over the plants.

yes but your still making the wave travel further to get to the plants....i really could care less what ya do bro like i said just my 2¢ i never put my screen on untill later on in the grow...personal preference. maybe it matters maybe it does not...i like to be able to get my lights as close to the plants as i can and not have to worry about melting or burning a screen.

And I appreciate your input. But two 600's will not generate enough :fire: to melt the trellis. maybe if I was running 1000's that might but not 600's. at the distance there at (about 12 in. from net)- Which is why theres No Reason To Not.. put up the net now.

Not to mention those concrete pyramids you see are custom-drilled and weigh at about 90-100 lbs so the trellis isn't going anywhere .. which is why rails on the sides isn't necessary

Lol. If you can throw down weight it won't. Been there. My trellis pulled over 5 gal buckets of cement with harvest weight sagging the trellis like a bowl. ;)

That's because the 5-gal buckets are taller, with a higher center of gravity, and a smaller radius base. The pyramids take up more area, thus making it a more stable platform ^^:dunce:

Light is a wavelength. However, your argument is a Non Sequitur. Use a Bing search on that one.

People are trying to give you good advice.

Notice the amount of space between the reflector and the actual pots;you will proabably say "theres too much space ii ii idiot" but in fact, I designed it that way for several reasons:
-Ensures enough space for plants entire growth cycle*As indicated by yellow line
-Provides room for accessibility to and from the backside of the plants*as indicated by the green lines
I always stress that accessibility is important in any indoor garden; for example, watering the plants is easier, also in case maintenance is required, you don't have to go through a lot of trouble by moving the plants out etc., if you had only a single entrance...007.jpg

Hey its me Playermic here to give you a update on the purp grow. Im in week 4 flowering right now. everythings going perfect the plants appear to be thriving with high crystallization. (although its difficult to see how sugar coated they are under this spectrum):002.jpg
