Scrog Growers!!!

I wanted to know some information on scrog grows from EXPERIENCED scrog growers, for 6 plants what would be good dimensions for a table, the size of the box wires like where the tops would come through, also the height of the table from the ground if the plants were about 3' when put into flowering. How many times do you top/fim before letting the plants hit the wire of the table. Seems like a lot but i have done my research im just looking for solid advice from people who've actually done this, thanks.

OR using ONE plant how long would you figure it would take to do the fim/top to produce atleast a pound dry, and the size of the container with soil as a medium, the 6 plants would also be in soil, and obviously the ONE plant would need a lot more nutrients then the average plant right ?

Dont be a dick.

I dont have any experience with ScrOG. I am a big fan of FIM and LST. I am finding that ScrOG may have been the way for me to go.

If you are doing 6 plants, you are going to more than likely arrange them in a 2x3 configuration. So, id say a 2'x3' area with around 24 inches of headroom. One gallon square planters would prob be the best.

You are going to want to FIM and FIM and FIM every opportunity you get. You will also want to veg them for a good long time.

As i said, im LST and FIM, and i FIM like it was masturbation, every chance i get. My plants are finishing their 7th week of veg and my 6 plants have at least 12 nodes each that will become main colas. I plan on vegging 3 of them for another month before i flower.

If you want a pound of dried, you are going to need at least 32 nodes that produce buds that are the close to an oz each. Remember when you dry and cure, you will lose about 75% of your wet weight.

If you are growing for personal....and in 10 months you grow a lb, that gives you an oz a month to smoke with 4 oz as a back up, for those extra stressful months. It will also allow you to take a couple of months off before you start your next grow for smoke, and by the time you are almost done with the stuff you grew last time, your new stuff will be ready!

Ok thanks also if you have 32 nodes your going to have to pump them with nutrients right like i mean more then the normal plant? Seems like common sense but you never know and also wouldnt one gallons be too small to be vegging for that amount of time I'd assume at least 2 months vegging.

"Indoors is the same for different reasons. The light cannot penetrate more than a foot or two. So flower when plants are a foot tall. If you wait longer because you want bigger yields, you will get smaller yields and wait longer for them." I also found this on a different site would this be true? Should you keep the plants smaller ?

i always flower at 12" or even less. you're right, letting them get huge is a waste of space/nutes etc. some people don't care, but i don't want a butt load of pop corn buds. each wattage of lights will only penetrate the canopy so far. i've let plants get too big (pic) it sucks!!
