scrawny plants

Hi, everyone I have a quick ??? I have never tried growing on my own but due to a large bust in my town everything is dry so i figured id give it a shot... anyway I bought a 2 cheay 120W row lights and started planting. I have been using Bio-grow and the plants look really healthy but the are scrawny and only have three leaves. is this something I should be consindered about or is everything ok?

read the grow faq top left, get rid of the grow lights they are incandescent, get some cfl's...

well money is kind of tight right now but I havefound a nice 500w CFL light i am going to pick up. now with a incandecent light will my plant yeild anything or am i just wasting my time??? It was some really good shit so I want to get some seeds out of it

Just get some 4' fluorescent lights. There cheap and will get it done.

You don't want to use a 500w anything. There aren't any flourescents or HIDs that are 500w I don't think. Prove me wrong. Go get some 23-26w compact flourescents.

how many watts should I get? I only have two plants but I read you need 500w psf
