Scotts top soil

How much perlite should i use with scotts premium top soil? ithe soil does not saying anything on the bad about having fertilizer's,only thing it sais is sphagnum peat moss.the soil is in big clumps. i tried breaking it down when i mixed some others but when i water it all compresses up and turns clumpy again.

im planting some kush today so i need a suggestion asap!!!

my suggestion is get some better soil.

Yea buddy, Scots and Miracle Grow aren't the best for cannabis, I found that out about Miracle grow the hard way, luckily the white widow plant turned out to be a male anyway so the damage that was done was all just chalked up to exp!

If using soil, Fox Farms Oceans Forrest seems to be the best pre-mixed thing out there, not that it's the best thing ever. I think with experience some people have mixed ever better stuff themselves but if your not at that point yet, some FF potting soil is good stuff. Do you have a local hydro store you can look for some? I bet you can find one online!

theres a ton in my area but i dont like going to hydro shops.i will check around and probablly send some one.im just worried the seeds wont be strong enuff to break the soil.
