I will kick it off. laughingduck and I had a great debate about various issues earlier tonight, one that illustrated our mutual understanding of the absurdity of the debates that go on in this forum so often. It kind of gets to the point where we look forward to disagreeing with each other. That's all well and good, but let's disagree without being disagreeable. Good thread

Dude, great idea for a thread, +rep for that.
There's a bunch of smart ass people on this website, if Fox News read some posts from a few members they'd learn some shit about stoners and the way we think.
To list a few;
RobRoy - dude always has a great view on things, never seen something stupid come from him
morgentaler - really smart dude, especially regarding science and philosophy
JohnnyO - also really smart guy with well thought out opinions, I can tell he puts morals/values above politics, which is extremely rare, especially here
FlyLikeAnEagle, BigTitLvr, PeachOibleBoiblePeach#1, jeffchr and dukeofbaja get an honorable mention in that category too, all great opinions
I actually like a lot of the arguments the conservatives bring up, it leads me to question the things I believe to be true, which is always a good thing.
There's a bunch of smart ass people on this website, if Fox News read some posts from a few members they'd learn some shit about stoners and the way we think.

I also wanted to mention thanks to PadawanBater for the 'who the f are you....' thread. I was able to better understand the context of some of the posters around here, and that helps us all.

OK, I'll say it right here and now: A friend gave me a quarter oz of some really GREAT Skunk he grew in trade for some really nice clones that I grew. So, if upnorth were here, I'd share a bowl of that Skunk with him.

I would like to say thank you to everyone I have come in contact with (whether on good or bad terms) on here. I have learned so much since I signed up here, and there are so many brilliant, funny, artistic people her, I am proud to say I am a member at Roll It Up. Good people.... 
talking politics with stoners is one of my favorite hobbies and there really is a pretty broad range of viewpoints on here, which make it more interesting. We've got lots of smart, knowledgeable folks whose opinions I value even if we don't always agree. I'm not a masochist and I wouldn't keep reading and posting if I didn't enjoy the exchanges of ideas and whatnot. There are lots of places to go discuss politics online but we all keep coming back here for some reason. Anyone know why?

The only politics I've ever learned was on here, I'm thankfull for that! Don't know if that holds ANY cred anywhere but you guys are the ones teaching me. lol. I can be politically dumb alot of times but that how I learn.... mistakes! And lots of questions. thanks All!
