Save your clones for a later date "dormant"

i have herd of ppl putting em in a bag in thhe refridgerator but i always just put em in a small space with a 26w cfl and keep the temp around 50 and they just sit theretil the temp comes up

'Dormant' as in not growing or producing any plant material? Not that I know of. Best thing to do IMO is make one of your cuttings into a mother. Veg for however long and clone down the road when you need them. In 6 months your mommy will have PLENTY of clone sites.

I have put cuttings in a ziplock freezer storage bag, wrapped it in a kitchen towel, then placed it in a plastic shopping bag. The towel sort of insulates it so the cuttings dont get frost on them. They are supposed to survive up to 4 weeks. I have personally had an 80% success rate after 2 weeks in the fridge. So, yeah, it can be done. Just cut some extras since not all of them will root.
