Sativa Stem Splitting

Well I have a sativa bag seed at 7 weeks and just starting to fill in....problem is main stem is splitting at base and also several side branches are also splitting....what causes this?......it was topped and tied....and where top was cut also is splitting..... stem is real woody......I removed a bottom branch and seems it still has some water??......wondering what I should do....if any thing...no real compact tight buds just filling in... estimate another 3 weeks to finish. Temps at 85F lights on and 74F off... not sure of humidity.

what do you understand under splitting, is the stem splitting like cut in two by a knife or is it growing to branches now? post pics and don't let us guess so much;)

Splitting like knife cut would be good way to put it...Yes....and spot where 2 branchs split looks cut and at the bottom of main stem looks like you mentioned.. cut with knife....have not been able to put any images up for some reason still learning that....get errors even with small files.

if you got the full office package on you pc use the picture manager, or get some software comparable for less bucks;)

so it is virtually ripping of the stem i guess, sounds like a weight problem, either are the branches to heavy or the stem is fr some odd reason to weak. both cases, get as first aid bamboo sticks and bandage tape, the good stuff (skin friendly/girls tape) not the super sticky cheap stuff and fix it with that for now. if the branches are long. big and heavy string them up to the sticks. this is really about supporting the plant first and wonder about the cause to this later.

Thanks for image advice.....branches are supported with small stakes.....virtually ripping of the stem would be good termanolgy....they looked fairly good last night but got real bad over night.....leaves are real droopy also.....looks like it dyeing ( forgot to mention that ).....no lack of water and not to much either as 2 others OK.... also have a cut at base of main stem comming out of soil....straight up the stem.....is it possible they are root bound??.....why the real woody stems others girls do not seem woody??

oh my, by know i really would love to see a pic of this odd plant...

well if the bloodline is cut, limbs go limp, human or plant, all you can do is to fix them back together and mist the plant a bit. lower nutes, mist and pray. cannabis is tough, but sativa can not take as much as indica, so you have to optimise it chances really to get it thru this now.

Thanks alot...gave some TLC... I will update tomorrow great help.Maybe someone else has ideas as well...going to try getting images uploaded.

24 Hours....Well she\'s pretty much gone I\'d say not sure why... blood line must be cut/split... all branches sagging and leaves are drooping...going to watch this and see if someone else has any ideas within the next few hours if not....then put her to rest....and move another to her spot.

Well she\'s gone....preformed a little evaluation...stems were hollow and not spongy....she was not root bound as I understand root bound......sure would like to know what caused this.....faqs state maybe Boron shortage...what causes depletion??
