Sure is. They are called phenotypes. The phenotypes are expressions of the parent plants used in the hybrid cross. If you took say a sativa like haze and a pure indica like afghani, you would get 25% of offspring that look like the haze, 25% of offspring would look like the afghani and 50% would come out with a mixture of both the parents.
Edit- just re-read your post and are you asking if you can get both types on one plant? If so the answer is no unless you grafted one onto the other.
