Samsung LM301B

I have designed a new GrowGreen board for the LM301B but have put it on hold for awhile. Only 5000k LM301B is available to me at this time. I wanted LM301B 3000k and 5000k, and sent money for two reels one 3000k and one 5000k. A reel of LM301B 5000k with 4000 diodes is up $0.02 per diode from $0.04 an increase of 34% with only one spectrum available at this time. I hope HLG does well with their LM301B boards.

It's not that big of a difference. Very small maybe 2-3% when they become available. Not worth upgrading for sure. The other LEDs are for the elite and they are a different animal all together and won't be as cost effective $/efficiency as the QBs are. So no worries.

are they even worth the upgrade over the LM561c s6 bin? seems a small jump...couldnt i increase the efficiency of my QB panels buy running them softer?

They say " Highest efficacy: 220lm/W @65mA, 5000K, CRI 80 " 65 mA is pretty low, right?
This is great news. Now I can upgrade again so that any cost saving benefits of upgrading the last time are totally shot.:|

Not really not for the money for redesign and increased cost makes the return minimal at best. Just gonna wait for the next train
