Same strain but don't look alike at all (first post)

There the same strain only planted 1 day apart germinated the same day. We're both in red solo cups before the 2 gallon pots but the older plant seems to be stunted, did I possibly make it male by bunching its roots in the solo cup because the younger plant seems like it's on pace to dwarf its older brother.. There about 17 days old

Different phenotypes.

There's a 50/50 chance they're male.
 
Take care of that stretch dude. They need more light closer. Get a small fan oscillating to help strengthen the stems.

I have a 6in fan that wasn't in the picture, I'm using 3 32w cfl's but I have another cord and light on the way
