Just wondering if it was too early to tell if this is a M/F... according to the Buds For Less book, i should be seeing white hairs, but im not...

Hope these are females..... don't let me down guys!

First 2 pics are my Ill Nino plant, pics 3 and 4 are ICE

Sup Mikey,

Hate to disappoint but I see no signs of sex yet. Have you started 12/12 yet? If so, for how long now? The white hairs that normally show up are incredibly hard to miss and will seemingly show up overnight. At least that's what happened to mine. One day everything looked normal and then the next morning there were pairs of white hairs on the tops. Same goes for the males. One day nothing and the next day little clusters of balls on the tops.

Your leaves look a bit frazzled too. Might be a sign of deficiency or nute lockup. I have been told that stress can delay flowering. Hope a seasoned grower can give you some feedback. I love how bushy they are though. Good luck and happy growing!

yep...they haven't showed their sex yet.....if they are on a 12/12 light cycle then it will take up to 2 weeks for them to start showing....

sorry to soon to tell no signs yet, if there were a presex hair showing it would probably be on the main stalk around nodes 6 and up

If they are indoor plants...keep them indoors. If they are outdoor plants...keep them outdoors.

Every radical change to the plant will slow it's growth. Repotting, changing from outdoor to indoor or vice versa, too much cutting...etc. Those all stress the plant and slow the growth. Not to mention that your light cycles are probably different than the sun's light cycles so there is that change for the plant to deal with as well.

and to your original question...I also do not see any signs of sex yet.

they still stay on 12/12, they just get a few hours of genuine UVA/UVB rayz instead of just UVA from the CFL's... from what ive learned, its actually quite beneficial to bring indoor (CFL grown) plants outside for a few hours (15-30)per week...it gets more light to the lower areas, fresh air circulates freely, etc... remember, i gots a ghetto setup in my closet lol, just 5 CFL's, thermometer, some tinfoil, and 1 fan... no intake/exhaust, no nutes, no PH meters, etc.

so generally, i know i stunted them a bit, but since i have been putting them outside in the day (the lights go on at 10:00 AM, i put the plants outside at noon, bring them in at around 6:00 PM, and continue CFL until 10:00 PM), growth seems faster and greener

so pretty much all you guys answered my M/F question for now, hopefully i'll get the answer for myself in a few more days lol... i'll post my results

THANKS A MILLY!
