Salvageable plant?

Baby plant. 8 days old. First time growing, and this plant died after I did a transplant. I transplanted it because I totally messed up the first pot(first time growing, used miracle grow soil, and a shitty solo cup with no holes in the bottom). Is this baby salvageable? It's okay to say no. I just purchased more seeds last night. Remodeling my setup currently to a more ideal "grow room".

Not looking good, I'm afraid, but give it another day or two -- you never know. If there's any internal life, it'll start recovering.

The MG soil probably would have fine.

A solo cup with no holes in the bottom could have been fixed by using a nail/ screw/ knife/ pen/ pencil/ anything moderately sharpish to poke holes in it. MANY people start off in solo cups.

The first lesson to learn (and I learned it the hard way as many 1st timers do)... "If in doubt, don't F*#% with it."

Haha I appreciate that. But now, I Think I'm ready to grow a crop. Just had to shake off a few loose bandages.

I'm not trying to be an ass, I'd just like to save you some of the aggravation I experienced last year.

Rule #1:"When in doubt, don't F&^% with it."

There was nothing wrong on day 5:

Day 6 it was looking like a pretty stable sprout:

https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/654315-6-day-old-crop-update.html

Day 7 (yesterday), it looked FINE:

https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/654714-7-day-old-plant-update.html

Today, day 8... After you F*&%ed with it, it looks like it does above.

This brings me to...

Rule #2: "Be patient."

Your plants will grow at their own pace, when you look around and see posts from more experienced growers you'll think to yourself "Why doesn't mine look like that?". The easy answer, amongst a shit tonne of other variables, EXPERIENCE. Every grow will get easier and I'm sure every grow will improve. We all make mistakes...

That will bring me to,

Rule #3: "Learn from your mistakes & learn from OTHER peoples mistakes".

Wow.. I actually was going to reply to your day 5 post because as the above poster said, it was looking good. Pretty much just the leaves grow for the first bit. Here's a website that will give you step by step instructions www.growweedeasy.com and if you can't be patient past a week... this aint your thing player.
