Salt build up

I keep getting salt build up in my coco 70% and 30% perlite brand is plant magic im adding cal mag at 1.5ml to 1 litre of water and still having calcium deficiency please help im using canna brand nutes 250w hps

i highly doubt its a "salt buildup"
What kind of food and medium ? pics , water ect.....more info needed.

Are you following canna's feed schedule?
RO or tap water? If tap, PPM?
Watering to sufficient runoff?
Was the coco new for this grow??
Are you checking EC of your feed?

I know you all going to say its dry but Its coz I added a new layer of coco on top

im gonna go out on a limb an just say she is starving. good dose of real food should get her going again. im 95% on that.

I'm using tap water stored in bottles with lid left off for 24 hours to get rid of chlorine I am following canna feeding schedule every time I water to run off yeah the coco was new straight out of the bag already pre buffered im checking e.c going in at 1.0 coming out nearly 1.9

Looking at those stems I would be more concerned with pH and feeding them right. But that is the answer for 99% of the problems on these boards so its a safe bet.

This is where i lack knowledge. im not a know it all so im not sure as others would be when you say its coming out at 1.9 . That would tell these guys a lot about your girls.

if im clueless on this , then i would feed a full dose of something balanced. (synthetic too) She NEEDS food right away but is it because you ran out or because your ph is way out of wack ? im not 100%
I do not know the canna food schedule , i'll have to do some quick reading an get back to ya.

yup - you're right - that poor plant is starving at 1.0 EC feed

better get that up to at least 2.0
