Safe to use Co2 with an open fixture?

I'm running an open lamp and want to run co2, is this safe - or am I going to blow some shit up?

it is safe. CO2 is non flammable, and only dangerous when it is under high pressure

Ballasts and wall fans can always catch on fire tho. With a bare bulb, it is always smart to use some kind of high temp shut off or a flame defender

Thanks man, wasn't sure. Didn't wanna start a fire or explode some bulbs or some wild shit.

Good lookin' out. I'll check into it. I think my temps should be alright but always better to be safe than sorry.
