Sad Plants???

Okay so I normally wake up every morning to turn on my light because im using my one and only timer for my watering system, but no big deal wake up turn on the light ... my plants normally look perky after a good 6 hours of sleep. I have them vegging their last week under an HPS light and usually during the day they are looking perky and when it gets to around 18 hours of light where Im about to turn them off they start to look a little droopy but I diagosed this to be to much light.

This morning I woke up to some really sad plants as seen below, I cant tell if its just me or if there is something wrong but the leaves definitely arent as perky as they should be. I have on a 6 hours watering schedule on an ebb and flow hydro system with fox farm nutes and added epsom for mag.. Yesterday these plants looked amazing... They grew alllot over night and now then just look depressed.

This is yesterday when they looked perfect...

These are how they look today.. It may be hard to see any real problem but I tried to capture the essence of how saggy the leaves are gotten.

Yeah there difference is definitely there.. I know these plants are ready to flower but I wanted to wait another week.... would more darkness make them perk up because yesterday I accidently gave them 8 hours of sleep rather than 6 cause I overslept lol... or even put them on a 4 hour watering schedule?? I have a fan blowin on them during the day but not at night... but so far hasnt shown to be a problem.. I cant figure out why they looked so great yesterday and now they look sad today... pisses me off.

Forgot to mention that the tips on alot of the leaves are pointing down as well.. I guess thats the main problem but most of the leaves all together are laying on each as yesterday they were not.

depending on your light source plants will always look tired an droopy after 18 hrs of light they need rest as you always notice there nice an perky when lights go back on its all normal dude

Lol thnx for the post.. but its acually the opposite this morning, they looked ready for sleep last night and went those lights went back on they looked like they were ready for more sleep lmao! they are perking up a lil as the light has been on for about an hour now.. but the difference between how they looked yesterday morning and this morning is still very great.

I don't think your problem is too much light. They definitely are big enough to withstand the power of an HPS. Drooping is due to an environmental factor, which is hard to diagnose without knowing your conditions. Most common and reasonable problem would be over/underwatering, but your in an ebb & flow on a timer, so that shouldn't have changed. I would make sure the roots are OK and getting enough/not too much water. Check humidity and make sure it is OK. I think your plants are just undergoing a little moisture stress.

Word.. some people have said when u go from fluorescent to HPS you should switch your watering times to every 4 hours from 6 .. but 6 hours of dry time seems like a long time to me because under an HPS im pretty sure it gets dry down there after a few hours. So Im guessing it might be due to underwatering but I wake up at 8am and they get watered at 6 am and they looked like that when I woke up.. Fortunately they are perked up right now but I think the problem may be due to lack of airflow at night when I zip the tent up because I use a fan outside the tent blowing air from my air vent during the day and blow it in the tent to keep it like 74 degrees which Ive herd is the best possible condition. I also live in a very very humid state and im not at liberty to say which >.>
