Sad plant

Hey, this is my first time growing. I have one female plant 7 days into flowering, but the leaves are curling downwards and drooping. I think the growth is stunted because the buds are growing really slow.

Water schedule: about 3 times a week

Fertilizer: 2 times; at the beginning of veg and of flowering (11-12-6)

Light schedule: 12/12 using sunlight along with 2 34 watt fluorescents 3 inches away from the top of the plant

The plant has stretched a bunch as you can see, and it went through minor heat stress during veg because some of the leaves were touching the lights. Does anyone have an idea of what did this and what I can do to make it happy and growing again?

Thanks and love

Looks to me like it is stretching and needs more light.
watering 3 times a week is pretty excessive - let her feet dry out before watering again. This might be the cause of the leaf curling.
IMHO the pot is too small and you might be either root bound or nute locked.
I'd put it in about a 3 gallon pot w/ good soil & plenty of pearlite.
How are you controlling the light cycle if you're using sunlite?
Decent pics, they always help.
I'll be around to see your answers.

Oh, and btw, welcome to RIU - glad you made it.

PLant really doesn't look that unhappy. It has just stretched alot. Definitely wants more light, i don't know what size pot that is but stretching as opposed to bushing out is also a typical feature of root bound plants. I would suggest repotting, increase the amount of light, and do some research on pinching, heres the best link for an explanation although it is not with RIU, http://www.bcbudonline.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=10246 . You won't be able to pinch very far into flower but you still have a couple weeks leeway. There are many other things as well people will post them just do lots of reading.

best of luck!

Thanks a lot for the input friends.

The plant is actually in a 3 gallon pot (maybe it's not wide enough?)and there's plenty of pearlite in the soil. I'm thinking that light is the major issue. How do two 2700k 150 watt equivalent CFL's sound? I just pinched her successfully, so that sounds like it will definitely help.
