Sad days with first grow

Seems that one of my plants in my first grow has turned out to be a male, pic attached :(

I think it was because I used tap water on a number of occasions to water it.

Hopefully the other one will be a female, it hasn't shown its sex yet though

it is a male but i dont think it had any thing to do with tap water
good luck with the other

too bad - thats definitely a male. kill it before it pollinates yur girl. not the tap water - its normal to get one male unless you started with fem clone or seeds.

the tap water where I live is really hard though and has a lot of calcium in it.

I already took it away from the other plant and stuck it in the garden, where it will undoubtedly die.

your outdoor male can easily pollinate your indoor female. why aren't you killing it???

it isn't anywhere close, the female is at the front of the house 4 floors up, is it still risky??

sorry if I seem ignorant but this is a first time for me and I just don't know these things

the one on the left in this picture is the now deceased.

The one on the right hasn't shown its gender yet but was planted and sprouted at the same time as the other, so fingers crossed.

Here's to it hopefully being a female bongsmilie

I made butter out of mine, but yeah I had a shitload of males from a bunch of bagseed, and no it's not the water just nature and you did the right thing by offing the male.

just wait a little longer when the female gets puffy. By then you will be all read up on cloning and clone the hell out of her. Then you will have a bunch of new little minions...
