So heres my little closet grow. Kinda new to the forum thing but have grown a few times each time getting better. Have learned alot from this site.

What I have is 1 S.A.G.E. plant in a 3.5 gal dwc. Im using flora nova nutes with the Lucas formula. So only flora nova bloom at 8ml per gal. I did use the grow for the first feeding as a seedling for a n boost. I only veged it for 4 weeks. I started to lst her but the roots were a little slow to develop so decided against it. Well the side branch is now taller than the main stem from the short lst. Kinda topped but no cuts.

For lights I started with 2 55 actual watt cfls then added a 150 hps that I used on my last grow. Well my last grow was mostly indica so didnt get very tall. Pulled 70 grams off one plant under a 150 watt hps. I was happy. Well S.A.G.E. is mostly sativa or my pheno is. This thing skyrocketed after goin 12/12 plus the small light wasnt helping. I went from 10" to 3ft in like 3 weeks. Finally I got a little extra cash and got a better light. A local company maverick sun. I got a 600 watt dimmable ballast air cooled hood and bulb for $200. Unfortunately I can only run it at 75% due to heat. Ive had the light for a week now and the plant is happy.

Im running a 165 cfm inline fan and the smallest phresh filter 6x12 I think. Its all 4" in/out lets. The problem is the hood is 6". Got a couple reducers and it works. Not great but it works. Upgrading fan next. It was good for old setup.

The S.A.G.E seems to take heat pretty good. I only have two leaves shoing stress and that was from the 150. I was trying to keep it close but tge stretch was too fast. Also it takes over feedings well. I dont have a ppm meter but going off of the bottle and what ammounts are what ppm im pushing 1400-1500 ppm and only a small sign of burn. Love growing this strain. Looks very potent. Think I have 3-4 weeks left. So ready

Let me know what you think. Any thought on improving is appreciated just low on funds though.

Heres a picture of the heat stress leaves and the one with the worst nute burn

Sorry for the long post. Wanted to do a journal for this one but never started it. Ill keep this going for the rest of the grow.

looking good bro
How tall are they?
i think you've done a great job , buds are filling out really nice
can't wait to see updates

Too tall.. Nute burn... Overwatering. Is that an Aero bucket? maybe lower the water level a little.

Next time LST your plants or top them a couple times... After a few weeks VEG you can supercrop and crimp too to help maintain a level canopy and create a strong point on the branch.

Buds look great though! Keep up what you are doing just don't let them veg as long and also do more to keep the plant short and bushy

Ya next time I plan on doin a scrog. I want to do dwc still but my only issue is how to do res changes when the plant is all tangled in the screen. I wipe my bucket down with h202 every change and never had any problems. Is this not necessary. This plant looked bushy before I put it in flower but then the lack of light I has caused it to stretch bad. Got a new light now but damage has been done. Hoping that the top buds will swell up enough to make up for the lower buds. My last grow kinda turned out the same but only one main and more side buds and I pulled over 70 grans with a 150 watt.

So made it through 10 weeks still have a couple to go. Started looking at trichomes today. Looks like mostly clear some cloudy and like 1% amber. Hairs are mostly white still. Breeder says 70-77 days so im thinking 11 or 12 weeks. Im so getting a ppm meter next grow. Thinking about the bluelab truncheon.

Also any yield guesses are welcome. ill be happy with 2+ ounces since I had it under a 150 watt for a few weeks and it stretched like crazy.

I know I have nute burn and heat stress. Fixed the heat problem down to the low 80s high 70s. But dont have any ppm meter started to cut back on nutes now.

Anybody grow s.a.g.e. have any thoughts or advise.
