Amazing progress! You've definitely got things dialed in! I just received 2 3500K 240w Kingbrite QB's and I'm excited to see how they perform next to my 600w HPS. My buddy is hooking me up with some Crescendo seeds as well! What's the flavor profile like?

nice Nuka. Those QBs will outperform your 600 easy, no problem. You could probably dim them so that they run cool to the touch and still get the same results as your hot 600w fire hazard.

Lol the 600w HPS’s have performed great but I’ve been wanting to try something new for a while. It was between CMH & QB and I settled for QB. I’m going to run them on full so I can compare yield 480w vs 660w.

The HPS runs a bit warmer but I have it air cooled and also have AC. Have an auto fire extinguisher mounted just in case too.

That looks clean my guy! I’m interested to see difference in yield but also I’d be interested to see the effect on the quality as well. Are you running the same pheno under each light?

I stopped growing for a few years and just getting started back up so I don’t have any mother plants. Going to do some pheno hunting so I can veg out some mums. Might see if I can have some buddies hook me up with some clones.

Oh I see. It’d be hard to judge immediately but I still believe you’ll find that the QB will outperform the 600w HPS.

The freeze dryer is not getting down to the correct pressure. I’m thinking it’s an epoxy leak which Harvest Right might tell me how to fix over the phone. This process requires taking the casing off the freeze dryer and spraying of a fluid over the part where the epoxy is and then reapplying epoxy if there is a leak. I am extremely frustrated that I paid so much and waited so long just to get something I’ll have to repair day 1. I just want to use my freeze dryer! I ordered it June 2nd for Christ’s sake. And to make it all worse, they seem to have shitty customer service. I’m not sure what’s going to happen now.

That’s unfortunate to hear. I used to have a 20 gallon machine and although it’s great to smoke it is so much work! I’ve switched to rosin and haven’t looked back.

I got my freeze dryer working! It turns out the fitting that the vacuum hose attaches to was 1° too loose. I tightened it back up and bam it worked! Crazy how such a small crank of a wrench, one so small you can barely feel the wrench move, makes so much of a difference.
I have to say also that Harvest Right customer service isn’t that bad. It’s just frustrating having to wait for them to call you.

Crescendo Rbx1 week 7 of flower pics from the other day

The leaves on this are curling up and getting crispy on the edges because the plant is too close to the light. The other plant had yellow leaves for an unknown reason. I think they just need more EC. Either way I checked and I don't have mites in either tent. Top two photos are one pheno the last is another. The first i about 5 days ahead of the second.

I got my hash setup all ready to go after 5 months of planning and ran a test batch of trim yesterday in the bubble washer. It seemed to come out ok but there was a green tint to some of the hash. I think I may have gotten only 5-10g of bubble between all four washes and three different micron sizes, the 25,73, and 160. I’ve got better bags with more sizes in the mail but I wanted to run this batch with whatever I had on hand. I’ll post the results tonight or tomorrow when the freeze drying process is done.

I’m still on track to harvest my next two plants in another week or two as well. It’s an exciting time!

This harvest right freeze dryer, guys. It's nice. I have 10 grams of live rosin and hash rosin at my house now. This is my biggest achievement so far, a 6 gram ball of Crescendo live rosin. It looks even better in person.IMG_2484.jpg
I rearranged the tents. This should give you a good idea on how they are arranged now. My garage has finally been cleaned up!IMG_2446.jpg
Until the next update. peace!

My last harvest left me satisfied and stocked for winter. Got some 12 ounces of flower maybe more and I just ran the trim from my best plant and it resulted in over 12 grams of 45-159u hash rosin. I was surprised to get such a good yield. My best yet! 4C3945BC-5750-4BCF-997F-683BA6108A35.jpegTh

The ETHOS Crescend0 era is on its last go. After these plants finish I will be running Lit Farm's Marilyn Monroe. I also got a pack of some Piking Duck (GMO x Plum Wine) regs from the seedbank as well. I have high hopes for these strains because they were so expensive. I can't wait to test these new strains in early 2021.
