Just decided not to defoliate because I save my lower buds as fresh frozen material anyway. So far so good.
Fair enough, decided not to as well, not sure I believe in the defoliate for higher yield argument. Only removed a few to improve airflow. Nice improvement from the first grow as well, I'll be watching.

One more Crescend0 grow after this one and then I’m switching up the genetics. I’m really thinking about growing something from In-house genetics after that so I will be ordering seeds soon. It’s going to get interesting here in about 10-12 weeks when I’m finishing the next crop and my freeze dryer gets here. I’m going to have a lot of content.

Harvesting the second round of the crescendo this week some time. This was a quick grow... perpetual is the way to go. The coming grow will be crescendo once again, the third and perhaps final run with the strain (which I would highly recommend)... however I’ve been seeing results from grows using in-house genetics and I am tempted to buy a pack of the sugarcane or the slurricane even though they charge $200. 56DCCBC5-63F7-4A8D-B418-E045EACA1651.jpeg

Harvest is done! Hung a lot and froze a lot. Going to have to do some rearranging before the next round but that’s fine because I’m waiting on my plants in veg. Everything looked super frosty and there were some nugs that were a real shame to toss in the fresh frozen pile like this one pictured.977F39AD-BFBF-47D2-B4C9-78A45F75E40F.jpeg

The flowers are dried and trimmed! Great looking buds. I didn’t weigh it but i think I got about a pound. Maybe a little more or a little less. So my total yield was about a pound of dried flower and a heck of a lot of fresh frozen as well. I think if I had turned it all into dried product I could have pulled about 1.75 to 2 pounds. Anyway like I said the buds look great. Very dense and covered in trichomes. Definitely even better than my last harvest. Going to stick with growing one plant at a time

I made a baller jar. 4+ grams of flower rosin. Jar tech...(150°f for 4 hours and then 110°f for 20 hours) failed really but left me with a batter like consistency. I know I did it wrong and it was flower rosin so I’m happy anyway. It came out looking like my oil is covered in oil and the smell is crazy.18A2C3DB-852A-4C99-924E-1C14BC2451B0.jpeg7B3A8378-0C5B-4C66-B22D-ABC0B34549A8.jpeg

Had flow right come out and check over my a/c and I’m now ready to move my grow into the garage. The goal is to get another 4x4 grow space and basically have a harvest perpetually every 5 ish weeks.

You can take better photos of bud if you hold it under your qb. This is some Crescend0 from my most recent harvestD35AD1A6-92F4-41CC-8854-3C6B34E20A37.jpeg

The new light arrived today. I haven’t removed it from the box yet because I’m waiting for the new tent as well. However, the box is bent like a bowl and I’m worried the light may be fubar. I’m going to have to unbox it tomorrow anyway with or without the new tent.

I was tweaking, the light works great, accidentally went with 3500K but that's fine. Actually, Meijiu killed it with their packaging and the light went from box to lit in like, 10 minutes. The hardest/longest part was installing the hanging hooks. I'm super happy with them hooking me up, $363 for the light, shipped. I ordered it the same day as my tent and the light was here first.
The new tent is the same as my old, only updated. I am working on a way to ventilate both tent with the fans i have. I ordered a cheap inline fan that will hopefully equalize the pressure in the tents. Currently one tent is ballooning while the other is imploding, so hopefully that will work.

$25 inline booster fan ftw. Pressure is now pretty equal between the two tents! Officially ready to go. 0B9F2BF3-0F88-4700-AADB-3D89DC0CB057.jpeg9E4F57D4-AE61-471F-BA96-B9CF50594DBB.jpeg53F86974-14EC-4491-BD75-12E2B13AE202.jpeg
Also wanted to talk about my last harvest. I made rosin from the bud but it came out sappy each time.. definitely not the same waxy consistency I was getting with my left pheno from my first Crescend0 grow. However I am able to get it collected and I’m getting about a 19% yield. So not terrible I guess. Next time the plants are drying a day or two longer.

The moral of the story is this story is don’t let your plant veg too long or it will outgrow the tent. I have two giant plants and one is much bigger because it started bigger. Next run both plants will be the same size. 3F67521D-52FA-498A-A0B3-283DF2E16697.jpeg
