I understand the overwatering warning as in testing, drainage WAS a bit slow. Because of the stacking gap between the clear cup and the red cup, I can easily check and clear if needed. The mold comment I don't understand...short of dropping the cups in a pot of dirt, this seems not much different than my regular, mostly successful method. The cup dome only get used if needed. Watering is mostly restricted to the cups. You may not have noticed but I have a clear cup inside a red one with drain holes in both. This of course allowing root checks without dumping.

Why do you always whittle things down to the amount of time it takes you to ejaculate after seeing my frosty buds?? Where's my pic that you have been showcasing? I kinda like that one. In any case, if not mine...how about one of yours. Please come up with something better than that sad trip into organics you supplied recently.

Just giving it a try and yeah if it works it will save me an hour or so...so you are right there... Not huge but maybe I'll spend it looking to save another hour somewhere else.

It takes you an hour to transplant solo cups into one gallons..sad

if this isn't your plant why did you post it and say "about to harvest" .this is the plant you said the hps ruined. Smh..... just sad.image.jpgI wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy if you need help fixing that let me know...

Who said it wasn't my plant? Your reading comprehension is that of a cockroach while your ability to start false narratives is rather impotent. I am happy to learn from anyone but everything that I have seen that comes from you is hardly original while your trolling of me just tells me that my narratives are working. So, where is the pic of your plant again.? I would tell you how to fix it if it was worth fixing. I still find it funny that you would put it out here as an example of your growing, but self-deprecation can be humorous.

Pardon me Dave, but if you're going to use the larger container, then why wouldn't you just upcan to that container? The reason to use the party cups is because they take up less space. If you are going to take up the space with the bigger container, then you should just skip your step, and that will save you some valuable time.

Actually, you would be on to something if space in my starter cabinet was an issue or if those pots they ended up in went to a different area. An unexpected benefit discovered was having their slot to drop the cup in was a lot nicer to deal with than a row of tippy party cups and seriously, sliding that clear cup out of the red one to check the roots is really much better than dumping the plant in my hand. As mentioned though this method was suggested here by another. I just figured I would give it a try. It certainly saved me time. When you have "shit" plants like mine, what harm can their be?
